Prof. Emeritus Dato’ Dr. Sulaiman Md. Yassin - ChairmanPhD Cornell
Professor Emeritus Dato’ Dr. Sulaiman Md. Yassin is a Principal Research Fellow at the Institute of Social Science Studies, Universiti Putra Malaysia. His last post was as the Vice-Chancellor, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) when he retired in 2009. He had also served as a Dean of Graduate Studies, Director for Extension and Continuing Education and Deputy Vice Chancellor spanning a period of over twenty-five years. An old boy of Royal Military College Sungei Besi, he graduated with a Ph.D from Cornell in 1980 where he also spent a year as a Fulbright Scholar in 1986. Beginning his career in FELDA, he joined the Kolej Pertanian Malaya in 1972 which evolved into Universiti Putra Malaysia.
For the last thirty years, he has been involved in national and international projects funded by the World Bank, FAO of the United Nations, ASEAN Secretariat, World Council of Mosques, IAEA, CIRDAP and the Government of Malaysia. He had worked as a short-term Consultant in over 16 countries. He was the Inter-Country Coordinator in developing an ASEAN Modular Programme, funded by the Australian Government and ASEAN.
Currently, his research interests include the measurement of quality of life and well-being, sustainable livelihood pathways, happiness and well-being index development. A few relevant recent books are (1) Well-Being Revisited: A Malaysian Perspective and (2) Menjejaki Kesejahteraan Dari Kacamata Komuniti Malaysia.
He remains active as a Trustee of the Poverty Eradication Foundation as well as a Trustee of the American Alumni Malaysia Foundation and Malaysian Peace Foundation.
Dato’ Ir Noor Azmi Jaafar

Dato Ir Azmi started his career as a lecturer at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, ITM Shah Alam from 1979 to 1984 before holding various Managerial positions at Proton from 1984 to 1991. Presently Dato Ir. Azmi holds the following positions of MD/ED in DELLOYD Ventures Berhad, Director of Pascorp Paper Industries Berhad and Commisioner at PT Murakami Delloyd Indonesia. He is also the Director of PT Jideco Indonesia ,Director of PT JFD Indonesia , President Commisioner of PT Rebimab Jaya Indonesia, Commisioner of PT Asian Auto International Indonesia and Advisor to TIMS – Delloyd Thailand Pte. Ltd.
Dato Ir Azmi is also active in various social and academic activities such as the President of Proton Vendor’s Association, Advisory Panel of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering , University Malaysia Pahang, UNIMAP, UITM Shah Alam, Council Member of The Institution of Engineers Malaysia, Treasurer of UITM Engineering Alumni and Board of Trustee of Delloyd Foundation.
A graduate of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering ITM Shah Alam in 1977 and Advance Diploma in Mechanical Engineering ITM in 1979 he earlier pursued his MSc Mechanical Engineering and graduate from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, US in 1983.
En. Roslan Mohd Latif

Roslan has more than 30 years working experience in Marketing, Education, Project Management, starting with MARA in 1977 and PNB in 1979. In 1983 Roslan joined Kontena Nasional as the Project Coordinator before moving to MESB Berhad and then started the Klang Valley College in 1986 and the Carbondale Consulting Services Sdn Bhd.
He sits as an Independent Non-Executive Director of AWC Berhad since 2006 and Independent Non-Executive Director of TH Heavy Engineering Berhad since 2009. He was the Special Officer to the Minister of Information in 2008 , the Special Officer to the Minister of Youth and Sport and the last post as the Media Advisor to the Minister of Communication and Multimedia until June 2014. He was the President for The Federation of Malaysian Students in North America ( PEMAU) from 1980 to 1982 , the President for Malaysian Students , SIU Carbondale 1980/81 and currently the President of ALMA. Roslan also sits as Trustee to Yayasan Kumpulan Utusan.
Roslan holds a Diploma in Business Studies from ITM in 1977 before pursuing a Bachelor and MBA in Illinois USA from 1979 to 1983. He attended the Advance Management Program in Denver Colorado in 1985, and completed the Masters in Advance Business Policy from the University of South Australia in 2009. He also attended the Harvard Business School’s Asean Senior Management Program in 2014.
Zulkifli Abd Rani
BSc Cal State Long Beach, MDP The Hague
24 years experience in Oil & Gas industry mainly with Petronas. He has served Petronas in various management and leadership capacities including overseas posting at Houston, USA with Exxonmobil for 2 years and at Bergen, Norway with Framo Engineering on new technology project for 3 months. His career path in Oil & Gas industry is very unique indeed as he has gone through the industry in full cycle being involved as an operator (Petronas), contractor (COO of Sapuracrest Petroleum), regulator (VP of MPRC, Prime Minister’s Office) and currently is the CEO of KPRJ Petroleum, the State GLC of Johor.
Zulkifli graduated from the California State University in Long Beach with BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering in 1991. He has also attended several management and leadership courses like MDP and LEAP at Petronas and has delivered several talks as guest speaker at various forum domestically and internationally on Oil & Gas.
Haji Roslan Shafiei
BSc Marketing Indiana University Bloomington
Haji Roslan is an accomplished Banking & Credit Practioner with over 33 years experience in the Banking industry handling the full spectrum of credit disciplines from strategy formulation, marketing and risk management to operations. He was with Maybank for more than 30 years and his last position was Executive Vice President/Head of Asset Quality & Surveillance, Group Credit Management of Maybank Group before moving to Asian Finance Bank as COO.
He is currently a Board Member of Amanah Raya Capital and Amanah Raya Investment Bank Ltd Labuan. Haji Roslan is the current President of the Indiana University Alumni Association, Malaysia.
Haji Roslan is a graduate of Institut Teknologi MARA (ITM) with a Diploma in Business Studies. He holds a BSc Marketing from Indiana University, Bloomington and attended the MDP at Ross Business School, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Hajah Zuraidah Hj Musib - Secretary to the Board

Hajah Zuraidah started her career as Assistant Director in the Planning and Research Divison at Dewan Bahasa & Pustaka. She then became a language lecturer with the US Information Agency in Washington DC. She was also the Language Coordinator at the Center for Continuing Education, ITM between 1986 to 1995. She has held various posts of Senior Confidential Secretary in the Ministry of Public Enterprise , Senior Confidential Secretary to the Minister in the Prime Ministers Department and the Political Secretary to the Minister of National Unity and Social Development until 2003. She was CEO of the Malaysian Children TV Programme Foundation (MCTF), a children-based NGO which collaborated prominently with Radio Television Malaysia (RTM), MOSTI and UNICEF, Malaysia on children education issues. She was later Vice President (Corporate Communication) of the Professional Services Development Corporation, a GLC previously under the Minister of Finance Inc.
Hajah Zuraidah is a keen social activist who has held responsible positions as Board Member in Koperasi Wanita Pahang Berhad , Board Member to the Lembaga Koperasi Wanita Paya Besar, and is currently the Vice President of the Institut Kemajuan Wanita Malaysia (IKWAM). She is Host /Moderator for the Perdana Leadership Foundation, Putrajaya since 2009, is Master of Ceremony extraordinaire and Coordinating Chairperson for many official functions. Hajah Zuraidah who is also the Executive Council Member of ALMA is a prolific writer and has since written and edited two books “Pemasaran Politik di Malaysia” and initiated the series “Wira Malaysiaku” published by Dewan Bahasa & Pustaka.
Hajah Zuraidah graduated with a Diploma in Public Administration from ITM in 1981 before acquiring her BA in Education and Human Development from George Washington University, Washington DC and later her MA in TESL/Applied Linguistics from Georgetown University, Washington DC, USA in 1986.
